13 Apr Blue Angels Pensacola AFCEA is Back in 2022
The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association connects people and great ideas on the CyberCoast
After a break of several years, local government and industry professionals are excited to announce that the Blue Angels chapter of AFCEA (The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association) is back with a new focus: Connecting the CyberCoast.
The chapter’s primary goals are to provide a strong ethical forum where command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) professionals can exchange ideas and learn of the latest technologies, upcoming government contracts and award scholarships to those in pursuit of such endeavors. AFCEA helps foster close cooperative relationships among civil government agencies, the military and industry partners to collaborate so that technology and strategy align with the needs of those who serve.
Both individuals and organizations will benefit from AFCEA programming. It is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in the public or private sector interested in cyber communications, intelligence, and information technology.
Along with great networking events, there are plans in the works to reboot the successful CYBERTHON youth competition of years past, as well as launching a TechNet Conference that will bring nationally respected speakers to Pensacola and connect military, government, and industry for discussion around cyber. The new Board Members and Officers are as follows:
President, Bill Dunn 1st Vice President, James Rogers
Treasurer, Patrick Rooney 2nd Vice President, Jason Smith
Secretary, Dennis White Vice Secretary, Casey Campbell
VP Membership, Frank Smith VP Programs, Sean O’Brien
VP Publicity, Bob Foster
